SUMMER WISH LIST

I don't even know where to begin with my current obsessions for summer.  There are so many things on my wish list and here's a taste of a few!  I love the nautical feel of the navy shorts and bag.  And I'm a sucker for stripes!  Pinks and corals are my favorite colors at the moment and I can't wait to brush on Butter London's trout pout: a refreshing cantaloupe shade.  Flats and florals to top it all off.. oh, and don't forget some cute sunnies!

AT FIRST BLUSH

I felt so girly with all the ruffles and blush tones in this outfit.  The top has

a very romantic feel to it, so I played off that with my shorts and clutch. 

And these platform wedges are so comfortable~a gift from a friend.

TANGERINE

Color is on the radar still and I am soaking up every second of my bright skinny jeans.  I'm loving this tangerine color!  There's something about orange that just brightens my day.  It's one of my happy colors :)  I kept this outfit pretty basic and then added my leopard flats to spice it up.  I really like pairing leopard with bright/neon colors.  I think they compliment each other well.

Boho Evening

It's warmed up here in southern California and even though the days may be a little too hot, the evenings are just perfect! At least I think so!  I love wearing shorts out in the evening.  It makes summer feel that much closer.  Channeling a 70s boho vibe :)

Daddy's Girl

Peyton looks just like me when I was a baby (except for the dark hair!)  But she definitely has Nathan's tendencies.  She's a little pistol, a busy girl who likes to push the limits.  She's very active and likes to get her way.  She's a talker and lets you hear it.  I see tempers in my future. Nathan works a lot so Peyton doesn't get to spend a lot of time with him.  But when they get the chance, she loves it.  He dances and sings with her.  They go outside to look at the trees and airplanes.  And they rough house together.  Peyton and I are thankful that Daddy works so hard to support our family!

I Really LOVE MY...

I always like when I see little articles of celebrities wearing the same pair of shoes or carrying the same bag.  It shows that they really do hold on to items that they truly love, just like us! Haha.  I have a few things that I have been 'wearing to death' lately, including this diaper bag by Not Rational.  Well, ever since I had Peyton (so for 14 months) this bag has been my savior with enough room and pockets for all our mommy and baby necessities.  BUT, it doesn't look like a diaper bag so that's why I love it.  And my husband doesn't mind toting it along if he has to, too ;)
