I finally gave in to my first pair of wedge sneakers and well.. i love them.
They are really comfortable and will be a nice change from my predictable shoe collection.

I'm so ready for this Thanksgiving weekend.  A weekend in the mountains with cold weather and no phone service.  So relaxing!  I hope you all have a great holiday!

ENGAGEMENT PARTY

One of my best friends just got engaged and their engagement party was tonight.  All day I contemplated what I was going to wear.  I debated, a dress with pumps.. too cold.  Jeans with knee high boots and a sweater.. too casual.  I pulled open my sock drawer and found these tights.  I thought they would be perfect for the chilly evening that awaited us.  And then my outfit came together.  Oddly, I dressed from bottom to top.  Tights and booties first.  Then I added the skirt and lastly I chose this adorable printed silk top by Joie.  I kept the accessories simple with a classic watch and structured bag.  

We had a great time at my friend's parent's home in Huntington Beach.  I always love quality time spent with my girlfriends and of course to celebrate the newly engaged couple.  Congrats Jen and Alex!
